Food for thought

I was so happy when I was given this carrot cake, as its rare to find here.

I enjoyed a celebratory dinner here, where the chef cooked the food in front of us on the hot steel table in front of us.

The food was delicious as always.

My favourite desert at the moment are frozen yogurts. I tried the caremel yogurt topped with mini macaroons, however the macroons were disapointing as they were stale.

My friend and I had a cozy chinwag over brunch.

I tried the pig knuckle for the first time. It looks red angry and if I offended it, I will need to duck to cover from its punches. However, despite its scary appearance, it was suculent and juicy. Apparently, pig knuckle has collagen in it, which is good for the skin and joints.

I was at a wedding and thought the table setting and the tableware was extremely elegant.

Summer outfits

Combination of different  types of floral incoporated into one ensemble. 

 This dress is perfect for hot weathers since its so light and airy. This military inspired dress maintains the modesty whilst the split down the middle allows just a glimpse of the legs.

As you can tell I am a big fan of practicality as well as style. This cobalt blue top is also a light thin, slightly sheer material. I created an hourglass shape with my scarf belt and I thought the purple bag would compliment the top.

Excuse the mess, I just starting unpacking from a business trip.

Dug up silver wedges

Another outfit to church. I thought I would brighten my day with these colourful floral leggings.

The heat where I am is really kicking in, so there is no need for a cardigan. Although I always keep a lightweight scarf in my bag just in case.

And I paired this outfit with my sliver New Look wedges I got 10 years ago!

A wear my " lace " on my sleeves, literally.

Another comfortable outfit for a whole day of meetings.

 I'm actually wearing a dress with a black lacey top over it, to keep the look conservative and toned down. I think the lace really gives an edge to the plain grey dress.

Lazy day

Today was a casual, laid-back, "keeping-it-real", lazy day for me. After work I met up with a friend for dinner and had a good girly chin wag over udons and deep fried crab.

This is my outfit to church. I like how the outfit is modest, yet still airy which is ideal for the hot humid weather here.



Brunch outfit

Taken at a changing room, but ended up buying nothing I tried on, although I managed to find a pair of earrings with ear cuff attached to it.

I wore my leopard-print treasure box bag. Its surprisingly roomy.
